Policies & Procedures

Ordering

  • Place your order online or by phone at 800-542-1066.
  • Seton accepts MasterCard, Visa, or Discover Card.
  • Prices are subject to change without notice.
  • All orders are subject to approval by Seton Testing Services.
  • At times, the sale of certain tests to specific regions and/or states is restricted by Riverside, Pearson, or CTB/McGraw Hill.
  • If your order is incorrect, and we made the error, we will gladly correct it. Please call us as soon as possible at 800-542-1066 and notify us of the error. After verifying the error, we will then send you the correct items and a prepaid return label if something needs to be returned. Please Note: Returns without our prepaid return label will be at your own expense, so please call us before sending anything back.

Test Administration

  • To administer the IOWA, CogAT, or TerraNova 2/CAT 6 you must complete a Test Agreement.
  • Some states may not permit parental administration of the test. It is your responsibility to check your state’s testing requirements.

Shipping

  • IOWA Form E, CogAT Form 7, CAT Survey, and TerraNova 2/CAT 6 test orders are usually shipped about 10 days before the testing date you select at check-out.
  • Test Prep products usually ship within one business day.
  • Customers will be charged for the shipping of test prep materials.
  • The “Standard Shipping” option is typically Media Mail.
  • The “Expedited Shipping” option is typically Priority Mail. It is not immediate shipment.
  • For customized shipping options, please call 800-542-1066 after placing your order.
  • If you don’t receive your order within 8 business days of shipping, please contact us at 800-542-1066.
  • Back orders will be sent automatically to customers as soon as they become available.

Refunds

  • Before returning any unused standardized tests or test prep products for a refund or exchange, please call Seton at 1-800-542-1066 and talk to one of our Customer Service Representatives.
  • Return shipping is the customer’s responsibility.
  • Materials should be returned in their original condition via a trackable shipping method to:

  • Customers will not be reimbursed for shipping costs when returning materials for a refund or exchange.
  • Seton Testing will not be responsible for any loss or damage incurred in return shipments.
  • Returned materials must be in perfect, saleable condition: NOT DAMAGED or marked in any way.
  • Unused standardized tests (along with any accompanying answer documents and/or directions) that are postmarked within 14 days of the beginning test date will receive a full refund less a 25% restocking fee if received in saleable condition. 
  • Unused test prep products that are postmarked back to Seton within 14 days of being delivered will receive a full refund less a 25% restocking fee if received in saleable condition. 
  • There is also a 25% restocking fee for exchanges.
  • Seton Testing reserves the right to give partial credit for incomplete and/or partially damaged returns.
